couldn't he get a slim and swap the hard drives, back up his saves, put the 120 back, move all his saves, and resell the broken one on ebay like he said?

That would actually be almost as cheap as paying sony to fix it.

those aren't really trailers. They're more like announcement teasers. If you're including those the Assassin's creed 2 E3 teaser is pretty kickazz

They took out the server software to prevent simple pirating. Now all copies playing online can be verified by EA's servers.

Reading comprehension fail.

How do you see the screen enough to play any of the PS3 games with sony's c@ck so far down ur throat?

"God of War 3 demo is just a demo and not representative of the final product! It will so pretty it will melt your eyesockets!"
"Battlefield's beta released 5 months before launch could never look any better than it did..."

what happens when your controller starts picking up button presses you don't want it to? When your body is the controller, you have to treat it like a controller.

@article
One thing the 360 and PS3 both have that the Wii doesn't is a large hardcore audience. They will both get casual games. That's just the way it's going to happen. BUT! they will have a hardcore audience that's at least open to the idea of motion controlled hardcore game.

@Sony's motion control...

I'm sure if they collected terabytes of data and the software package is only 40mb, it uses algorithms instead.

then why are you wasting time posting about it? if you're willing to come into every thread about it to say you don't give a sh!t, you clearly give a sh!t.

edit:

And I agree. They should have kept the on board chip. Probably just to save money to get the cost of natal down, but it would have greatly increased natal's usability.

6009d ago 5 agree3 disagreeView comment

Natal does it on it's own. It doesn't run that on the 360 hardware.

This is a horrible article. First it contradicts itself in the second paragraph, then the last paragraph is worded horrendously. "When asked whether the game should be made, the operatives, who wished to remain nameless, responded, 'Not if they’re done respectfully, no.'"

should be "When asked whether the game shouldn't be made,..."

Where were these people that didn't think Killzone 2 looked good? I haven't met any. People keep making up these fictitious attacks. "What about last year when person X (who doesn't exist) said game Y was bad (which was rarely said by anybody with a brain)."

@all

The problem Mag will have once it's launched is that it will get a lot of casual people that won't want to work on a team. When they do, I'm sure it will be phenomenal. If people get huge clans to...

JRPGs is they. In general, new or old franchises, they aren't selling like they (JRPGs) used to.

Who said anything racist?

@all others
tordavis raises a great point. JRPGs that don't have final fantasy in the title just don't sell like they used to.

Personally I'd attribute it to many japanese developers making their stories so ridiculous and over-written that the stories just stopped being interesting. It seems like every time you need to know what happens next in a JRPG chances are it will be something unrelated to the story so far, and that it will happ...

Rage is a 3rd Party Multiplatform title and probably the best looking game ever.

There's plenty to be squeezed out of both consoles. Deal.

No. Get Battlefield Bad company 2 instead.

What award did XMB get? From what I've heard people have said that XBL is easier to find your way around than PSN.

And none of those features were available on PS3's launch a year after the 360's. If you think they would have come out with all that stuff without it being out on a major competitor's network, you're only lying to yourself.

And only N4g would think being proactive, being persistent, and having good customer service are bad things.

but they work on multiple projects at one time. It's not like all 163 work on a single game the whole time. For example, ODST was done by a small part of the team while the others worked on Reach, halo 3 map packs, and other stuff.

Probably for a few weeks before Reach launches everyone will be working on it just for the final push, but they don't have 163 people working on Reach for the whole 2-3 years.

I kind of took the slowing down to be more like slowing down time rather than slowing you down physically.

Have you tried to play Armored core with a 360 or PS3 controller? It's impossible to play to it's full potential because there just aren't enough buttons.

You're still looking at it as a replacement for a controller. It's most common use will probably be as a supplement to it.

6016d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

you have to think subtler.

It won't be diving behind a couch or jumping around your living room. It'll be moving your arm a couple inches or tracking the movements you already make while playing to make the game adapt to you.

There's going to be more motion centric games for people that like them, but for most games the motions won't be at all obtrusive. I'd anticipate natal being used in some very interesting ways by some developers.
